    Default Bonsai

I was just wondering if anyone on here uses the art of bonsai?
I am just learning how to do it and am attempting my first bonsai (A Desert Rose)...
if anyone else on here does bonsai i would love to see some pics and ask for advice on a few things.

I use to have many bonsai until I moved to a new place and the local cockatoos tore them to shreds.

Is the desert rose from a cutting or from seed? You won't get the big bulbous effect from a cutting. It is is a good starting plant for bonsai as it can be pretty much be neglected and it should do fine. Plenty of sun, very little water and a well draining potting mix.

Moreton bay fig before and after. Thinking it would look nice as a semi-cascade.

My other fig, thinking of going wither triple trunk and a fusion trunk.

I had 4, all figs but only one left now.
I am only new to it as well but will post some pics of my remaining Ficus brachypoda (rock fig). They grow in and around Uluru so I have gone with the desert look.
May the force be with you.
